Mango Meerkat is being built with separate day-to-day family access and protected Parent Controls, so simply choosing an adult profile does not grant administrative power.
Separate Parent Controls
Administrative actions live behind a protected Parent path rather than being silently inherited from a profile.
Revocable device access
A household device can be authorized for shared family use, and parents can remove that access when needed.
Scoped member access
Day-to-day member activity stays tied to the selected family member and does not automatically become Parent authority.
Privacy by purpose
We aim to collect only the information needed to provide and improve Mango Meerkat. For the pre-launch waitlist, that means contact information and limited family/testing information — not detailed family calendar content or private household records.
No hidden claim of certification
Mango Meerkat is still in pre-launch development. Our security design is actively tested, but we do not describe the product as independently security-certified unless and until that is actually true.
Clear authority boundaries
The product is designed so family members can participate without every family member being able to change sensitive settings, approve commitments, manage access or administer the household.

Our public privacy policy explains what we collect for the waitlist and why. As the product moves into broader testing, we will expand those disclosures to cover in-product data and controls.
